Can't associate my email address since it's been associated with an old account

Hi there,
 
I was trying to setup the email address in  my new xfinity account, but after I entered the email address, I got an error message:
 
This email address is already associated with an Xfinity account
 
Can you please remove the email association with my old accounts? Thank you.

call 800-comcast and select billing. ask the agent to fix your username to point only to your current address/account.
