xfinity Gigabit service and home switch

I’m a novice, so forgive the layman’s usage. I have a new xfinity gigabit router and modem. My house was recently retrofitted with 6a cable. The technicians checked the cables and the signals were normal. The switch is a Netgear GS324 24-port unmanaged switch. When i connect the switch to the xfinity router via one of the wall ports (switch is in the basement/modem and router combo is above grade), the speeds are only 100. When I plug the wireless router in, it gets 1000 from the xfinity port. Even with just the switch plugged in by itself, the port only gives it 100.

Thoughts and ideas? I appreciate the help.
