too many emails

How do you manage your emails?  I have thousands - do you delete daily? is there an auto delete?

If you are still in the old email format, from the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>Email>>>>>Email Deletion Schedules.  There you can check to see how the default folders are set and make any changes you want.  If you are in the new format, the only folders that auto delete are Spam and Trash.  Emails in the other folders will stay indefinitely until you delete them.  If you want to empty an entire folder, right-click on it, and you will see the option to delete all messages.  Also, if you are still in the old format, at some point you will be migrated to the new one.
