From the Inbox page, go to Preferences>>>>>>>>Email>>>>>>>Email Deletion Schedules.  That is where you can change the time period in the various folders for retention.  If you are using only the webmail, the longest you can keep anything in the Spam or Trash folders is 30 days.  You could get around that by using an email client like Outlook, Windows Live Mail or some other.  The settings in the client will override the settings in Comcast.
