not getting the email icon when i login

I sucessfully login to my Xfinity account on my laptop PC and click on "Check your email" under the "Common Solutions" heading. That takes me to the Xfinity home page which does not show a mail icon. I get my emails on my iPhone and iPad but not on the PC. What do I need to do to get the mail icon back on the Xfinity home page?

After a few hours, and for no apparent reason, the black ribbon at the top of the Xfiniti home page appeard with the mail icon as well as the other icons that should be there. Prior to that, the ribbon was just black (partly hidden lenthwise) with no icons, which resulted in preventing me from gettting to my email. The icons may have been there, but hidden, since the ribbon was hidden lengthwise. Don't know why that happens and don't know how to fix it when it does happen. Problem solved for the time being.
