new modem wont connect

 i bought a sb6190 modem and my computer wont connect to internet, tried a 2nd new modem and still wont connect.  my old sb6141 still works but isnt supported any more

Sounds like a provisioning issue.  You need to remove your old modem before the new one will work.

Are you getting them activated for service ? Is the "Online" indicator light lit steadily ?

the green internet light on modem stays lit.  modem plugged directly into computer.
