how can I turn off wifi internet access on my child's phone when necessary

Xfinity is advertising on TV that a mother can turn off interenet/wifi access to the family phones.

How is this done?

songtree, that is done via xFi. With XFINITY xFi, you can manage your home WiFi network from anywhere, on any device - even from your TV with X1. See what devices are online, how long they've been on, and even pause WiFi for devices on your network.

It does require an xFi capable modem. Would you like me to see if you modem is capable?

Click on the device and select Pause...This will allow you to turn off the signal for that device for however long you want
