email trash deletion schedule problem

My trash deletion schedule has been set for 30 days, but it recently started deleting after about 8 days, and I am unable to get it back to 30. Clicking on Trash says there are 84 or 85 items using 8MB. Would appreciate suggestions on what to do.

Do you have the account enabled on another device like a smartphone or a tablet?  Or maybe  a desktop client on a laptop or something?  Because settings on any of those will override the settings in Preferences in your Comcast account.  You need to check those.
