email is in strange format

email is in strange format

somehow my email has changed it's format and looks a lot like yahoo. Once I login it tries to connect me to xfinity and that is probably part of the problem. How do I go back to old format. I do not want xfinity connection. It looks like 25% is complete and I don't know why.

zimbra is what I want and pay comcast for but they have chosen to not give me a choice. That was my question;as for the 25% complete i guess it wants me to go to step 4 and perhaps more steps to complete whatever it is they want me to complete. When I go to "My Accounts" I don't know how to go to step four. I really want to reverse my steps and go back to the old zimbra but sounds like comcast has made up their mind. So I am stuck at 25% complete (of what you ask? i don't know you made the changes you tell me). If I can't go back at least instruct me on how to complete whatever it is that i'm supposed to to get to 100%.

Could you describe what you mean by "looks like 25% is complete"?

 

Once your email ID has been converted to the newer Open-Xchange "Appsuite" webmail ("connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/..."), Comcast won't allow you to return to the older "Zimbra" webmail version.

Did the customer have to accept the comversion OR did Comcast perform the conversion on their own.  I'm another user that would have preferred the Zimbra format.

There is no way of knowing when an account will get migrated to the new format.  At some point, all Comcast HSI customers will have the new one.  There is no way to revert to the old one.
