email indicating a password change

email indicating a password change

Today I received an email from Xfinity indicating that "my password is all set".  also has on the page. ' you're.all.set . I did not request nor change my login or password.  It gives me a link of http://www.xfinity.com to click on and use my new password.  Trouble is, I didn't change it so I dont' know what my new password would be.  I was on line doing some credit card work at the time, but had already been signed into my comcast account.  I am afraid to sign out, as well as click on the link

Re: email indicating a password change

It sounds like a phishing scam.  The way to identify a legitimate email from Comcast is here---------------

You can report it here--------------

Sign out of your account and back in again to make sure your old password still works.
