Hi....I came across your post and I have been having the same problems even after tech came out and switched modems.

A higher level tech said something about a wireless adapter that i could get for about $20 but this is a brand new computer.

Has your issed ever been solved?

Both upstream signal levels are out of spec. And because your box isn't getting the correct RF levels, your box is resetting constantly (on the 10th, it reset 141 times).

 

If the tech mentioned that the signal levels are fine, did he happen to check for splitters attached to the coaxial cable that attaches to the modem?

I have been having the same issue.  We recently exchanged our equipment but we are not seeing any improvement.  Today has been an especially bad day, even wired connections are dropping connectivity.

constantly failing Internet connection

I have a wireless gateway that I am constantly reseting sometimes without success. I have good signal and signal to noise ratio. I have had a tech out to the house and he said there is nothing wrong with my signal. When I call customer service they send refresh signals which help for about a day and then I'm back to constantly resetting. I don't know how to get this resolved and it's been going on for months. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
