There should be no configuration needed. Just connect the Ethernet cable that comes with the Ooma to one of the Ethernet ports on the back of the modem.

I did plug  an ethernet cable in the Ooma Telo and the modem but the telepone port on modem did not on or flush.

Also tried plug a phone cable from Ooma Telo and modem but still did not work.

On Exfinity Wifi screen, Ooma Telo is connected to the modem wireless.

FWIW, If you are talking about the "Tel 1" light on the 3941, they are two different phone systems.
