change setting on how long mail stays on server

I can't find the setting to change how long my mail is kept on the server.  It was user defined in Outlook Express.  I can't find it now.

Re: change setting on how long mail stays on server

Assuming you are in the new email format, there is no schedule in the settings you can change.  All emails are kept indefinitely until you delete them, with the exception of the Spam and Trash folders;

Spam is stored for 7 days or 2,000 messages, whichever comes first
Trash is stored for 14 days or 5,000 messages, whichever comes first
