I got a email stating that my account is being deactivated ọn Sept. 12, 2017. I did not request it.

It's a phishing email....trying to get your personal information.  I hope you didn't click on any links and give out any information.

Hi mrschilbe, (Again) is right this email may have been sent by someone not affiliated with Comcast to retrieve your personal information. I am an official Comcast employee, please send me a private message with your full name, street address, and account number by clicking on my name (ComcatsAmir) and then "private message me" so that I can look into this for you.
