Xfinity hotspot MTU

I have a xfinity hotspot that i use to connect my ps4 to the internet. I have been using this for a couple months now and have had no issues whatsoever. A couple days ago, i began to have problems with my connection. I did a connection test and i received an error saying that ip fragmentation may be being prevented. I did some research and learned that this can be caused to a incorrect MTU value. I changed the MTU to 1500 but still no luck. Please help.

Re: Xfinity hotspot MTU

Not sure what the problem is but I doubt that it is a MTU issue. Comcast adheres to the ethernet standard of 1500 MTU.
