Wrong speeds after upgrade to Blast!

I just upgraded to Blast! Internet and bought myself a modem instead of paying for a rental. The modem (Netgear CM400) connects instantly and works fine but the speed is wrong. Is it possible that Comcast is trying to send the new bootfile to the old modem?

Re: Wrong speeds after upgrade to Blast!

That modem is compatible with the Blast (up to 200 Mbps) speed tier. Has it been powercycled / re-started lately ?

Still no joy, call 1-800-comcast and ask a rep to *roll and re-provision* the modem. Also ask them to confirm that the provisioning and account data in their database is correct and complete and that the correct configuration / bootfile for your subscribed to speed tier is being pushed to the modem.
