Wireless Speed

So i am paying for the blast internet that is 250 mps. I called in the tech support to see how can i improve my performance because i was only getting up to 100 mps on 5ghz. I am a IT person myself , so i informed the representative. I did the basic trouble shooting, reseting modem...speed test .etc. The response i got from the representative was mind blowing. They told me if i was getting above 25 mps. That they cant gurentee anthing better than that. If i wanted the true performance , than i should hardwire all my devices. So if i am paying for the platinum package. If i am not hardwired , i am only gurenteed 25mps. That is some rubbish that you cant state in commercial. You will lose millions of customers. Then to get unlimited data for the new secret data usage plan rolled out. I have to pay for the fiber install, lets keep in mind it was unlimited for 4 years. The representative will not even order me a new router for swap out. I have to physically go to the store. WORST EXPERIANCE EVER!!!!!!!

There are other options. Google for WiFi repeaters / range extenders, WiFi mesh systems, powerline ethernet adapters, MoCA adapters.

Hi jalenmoore7486, I ran some tests on your signals and I show that everything is in spec. If you're still having speed issues please send me a private message with your full name, street address, and account number by clicking on my name (ComcastAmir) and then "private message me" and we can get the problem resolved.
