I installed Windows 10 yesterday AM and it the install went well. However, once the install was complete, all I got was a flashing desk top with none of my shortcuts listed. It would flash about every 3 seconds from blue to black. I called Microsoft and has a 1 hour and 30 minute wait time then I was connected and told it would be about another 45 minutes to talk to a tech or, they culd call me back. I opted for the call back and they said it would be about 285 minutes (almost 5 hours). They called back about 8 hours later and said the problem was caused by Norton security and I could remove it and they woukld sell me another security software. I told them to get me back to 8.1 and they did. All is well now until I try the install again in the not too near future.
I,ve upgraded 5 machines to Windows 10 so far, without any problems, all of them running the Comcast supplied version of NSS. Make sure you upgrade NSS to the latest version BEFORE you install Windows 10. The new version of NSS has a green and white user interface, instead of yellow and white. There are stickied posts at the top of the Security and Antivirus board which will help you with the NSS / Windows 10 issues.
