I don't know if "your home network" is the appropriate section but nothing else fit either.
I use wifi hotspots when I visit family in New Hampshire. I don't know how it works but the signal is really strong and the speed is great. On the map of wifi locations, I see the nearest is half a mile away. Is this possible? Is it possible that there is one closer and it doesn't show up on the map ? We are in a small apartment complex and lots of people have wifi.
Anyone know? Thanks!
You are likely connecting to one that is closer than a half mile. That map of hotspots isn't necessarily *gospel*.
Thanks. If that's the case, this hotspot might be right in the next apartment. The hotspots shown on the map are all close to each other and one is an outside one. I really don't understand how they work but I'm really happy that they do.
