WiFi Modem

I need to move the modem (internet/phone) to a different location, but there is no phone connection nearby.  Also, I would have to share the cable connection with a tv.  Any suggestions on how to accomplish this without having to have service dept. come out and add new wiring?

Re: WiFi Modem

You would need a two way splitter and a length of coax to split the coax in the room where the TV is. Provided the signals are ok shouldn't be a problem. If you have a cordless phone set, you can connect the base station to Line1/Tel 1 on the back of the gateway. No need to use the home phone jacks.
