Wi-Fi 2.4 & 5

The app shows both Wi-Fi's are connected, but, I can only connect to 2.4 when I search 5 won't show up at all. I've tried to add it & still nothing. I'm not very techinal so what do I do?

If the device that you are searching with doesn't have 5.0 GHz band capability then it won't even show up as being available.
