Why do I have to have a code to sign into my account. Never happened before.

Why all of a suddent do I need to have a code to sign in?   Also, is there no way I can go directly to email from my desktop?

Thanks for any help.

If you choose the stay signed in option, you'll be signed in for 30 days as long as you don't sign out or clear your cookies. If you want to stay signed in indefinitely, use your browser's password manager. See your browser's Help information for how to do that.

You can make a shortcut/bookmark/favorite by dragging the Inbox favicon (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon) to your desktop or browser toolbar.

The Stay signed in box did not work for me.
Any other suggestions.

Thanks
