I will login tonight after work and get some pictures up. I'll also include some speed test results for the hsd extreme 150 plan.

If you login to the modem and post the signal readings it would help to see if there's a line issue or not.  http://192.168.100.1 or http://10.0.0.1 should get you to the signal page.  amps don't usually help more than they hurt when it comes to modems.  If you haven't tried yet go ahead and do a hard reset on the modem by holding the reset button for 30 seconds and see if things improve.

So we upgraded our package to the extreme 150. Which is the highest they offer here. But even with 2 modem swaps, and going back to xfinity's modem, we still never see it above 110. And in the afternoons or night time we have seen it drop to the 40's.
We never had issues like this when we had the 75mb package. At least that I recall.
Can I put a amplifier for the modem cable to help boost a signal?
I'm not getting any help over the phone, and even the tech came out once and said everything checked out. (After a 30 minute visit.)
I'm just trying to get what we pay for.
