Unable to connect to xfinity hotspots

I have xfinity internet and xfinity mobile, signed up for both of these on May 12, 2018. My WiFi at home was set up that day, and has been working fine. I have not been able to connect to any xfinity hotspots though, even after downloading the hotspot app. I keep getting an error that it is "not available for my tier of service". Any ideas what that means or how to fix this?

I believe you need to have at least Performance 25 internet to have access to xfinitywifi hotspots. If you already have that tier,, call in and get them to check your account.
