T3 timeing out

It started timing out Friday we could watch some things from the internet but we couldn't play any games like playstation plus. the modum says Sat Jun 23 08:47:45 2018 Critical (3) Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC=5c:b0:66:a4:a4:f3;CMTS-MAC=00:01:5c:82:16:5a;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; Sat Jun 23 08:41:45 2018 Critical (3) 16 consecutive T3 timeouts while trying to range on upstream channel 2;CM-MAC=5c:b0:66:a4:a4:f3;CMTS-MAC=00:01:5c:82:16:5a;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0; i tryed calling and tec support rebooted the router and said if that dosen't work buy a new one i am trying to make absolutely sure that all options are exhausted before spending out another 100$ for a router

Start here: troubleshooting guide. If you still need help, please post your equipment details (make/model of your modem/gateway/router) and a screenshot of your signal levels and your error/event log. Thank you!
