Stop forcing me to use your xFI service to portfoward...

I know my external ip and I want to portfoward using my external IP.... I don't want to portfoward using 10.0.0.x I want to use my external IP... what is this garbage.

It's not easier.. just makes things a hassel and wanting me to go buy another router

Sorry. its the only way on comcast gateways such as DPC3941T, Arris TG1682G, and both XB6 devices. Your only alternative is to use a TC8717C if you can get it to be given to you for rental or use your own router and bridge the gateway.
