Splitting internet from house to outbuilding

I'm splitting internet from home to outbuilding. Building is about 25' away from house/modem. I've installed a slpitter outside. One line runs in to house to modem, the other line underground to building. How do I make sure the "building" recognizes our IP address? Thanks BVG

I would run ethernet instead of coax.

Since there is existing coax, MoCA adapters are an option. Google for info,
