Looking at the admin portal at http://10.0.0.1, all WAN and VPN settings have completely disappeared despite being supported by most major vendors. Looking at the xFi portal, I am able to see my WAN IP address, but I can't configure anything.
To be clear, I want to set up a VPN so that I can access my home network while on the road, for IP address reasons.
I'm moving your issue to the Home Network since VPN is a network issue.
