Ever since Comcast changed its app and desktop, I receive duplicate emails in my Inbox. This is true whether I view it in the app or on my desktop. I do not use Outlook or any other email program - I just login to my comcast account online and view my email. I was hoping this would resolve itself over time but it hasn't and I'm getting very annoyed. I do have an automatic forward on to my gmail so that when Comcast email can't connect, I can still get my email. Any ideas of what I can do to make the duplicate emails stop?
I figured out the problem. I am forwarding all emails from my Comcast account to another email account. I have checked the box that a copy of the forwarded email be kept. The result is that I have duplicate emails. If I uncheck the box to keep the forwarded emails, no emails show up in my Comcast inbox. So, my choice is duplicates or none. I'll deal with duplicates.
