I found this thread because my Sony Xperia phone is having a problem connecting whenever I get home. It's fine all day, and using WiFi....then it won't work with my WiFi and keeps trying to connect. If I go into the SSID, I see that it says 'connected, no service' (I think) but the WiFi symbol has an x on it. The only fix is to restart my phone. Any possibilty it's related?
Thanks, but I don't think so. Reboots do nothing. I think it has to do with the age of the device and the router settings but I don't see a way to change the router from aes to tkip. Although per the documentation of the media device says its compatible with WPA2 and AES.
Would be nice if I can find a network log in the router that would tell me why the connection is not happening.
ajcstr, I can get you in contact with tech ops to see if they can shed a light on this. Please send me a private message with your full name for help.
