Hi i am having somewhat of the same issue with modem restarting i had this for i while using the rented modem but did not really make a bid deal out of it as it only did it about once daily, now that i own the modem i payed more attension to this and would like to have some advice i have the Arris SB8200 modem. here are the errors then i will post the power.

The downstream power is quite high. Is there a drop amplifier in the coax line leadng to the modem ? If so, try removing it and see.

That's a "DC Tap";

Try using the "Tap" leg rather than the "Out" leg. It has greater attenuation.

Yep thats how it was setup in for input cable, the out nothing was attached , the  TAP went to modem,  i did remove the tap intirely and the numbers i felt were way to high the dbmV were in the 20's  so what i will do is i have another tap and will use them together and here are the numbers now , until i get the right number to get the correct one to lower the voltage ( hope i am on the same page as you i need to lower the power levels)

O/k so that much overall attenuation apparently is needed for for the downstream power but it is too much for the upstream power. We may not be focusing on the root cause of your issue so perhaps this would be best left in the hands of Comcast techs.
