I have this problem and have had comcast techs out at least 4-5 times in the past year.  I have the 1 gig service and I had Vonage, which constantly dropped calls completely, or would break up during every phone call.  I ended up faulting Vonage and dropped them and purchased a Obhi box and signed on for google voice.  Same problem with that.  Calls constantly drop/disconnect.  I am at this point sure its my connection but can't get anywhere with Comcast.  I gig service gets me anywhere from very low under 100) up to 500 -600 mbps.  If I can't get get this resolved I am going to have to go with Verizon in order to fix the phone issue.  Any suggestiosn greatly appeciated.
