Thanks, Mady. Today receiving of e-mails works OK. If I encounter a snag, I'll try changing the ports.

Use port 995 with "Via direct SSL connect" checked.

Problem receiving e-mails with Pegasus

This is the current behavior of Pegasus when retrieving e-mails frm Comcast.


I get a message from Pegasus telling me that it is "Downloading message 1 of 1...".

The process times out giving me the following:


20:09:27.515: --- 7 Jul 2016, 20:09:27.515 ---
20:09:27.515: Connect to '', timeout 60 seconds.
20:09:28.515: >> +OK POP3 ready
20:09:28.515: << USER smith_7659
20:09:28.531: >> +OK


Then it disconnects from Comcast.


When I go to "Check host for new mail" the second time, it usually downloads the message right away.


I am using port 110 w/o SSL


Any ideas? Thanks.
