I had to do a systems recovery on my computer yesterday and I want to make sure nothing is wrong!

Thanks!

Re: Please look at my HiJackTHIS log

The first thing you have to do is to put HijackThis in it's own permanent folder, read below.

To create a permanent folder:
Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis". Now you have C:\HJT\ or C:\HijackThis\ folder. Put your HijackThis.exe there, and double click to run it.

Always make sure you run HijackThis from the permanent folder.

Rescan and post another log. One of the experts will be along to help you, but this is a holiday weekend so it may take some time for them to reply.

CajunTek

My computer worked fine Friday night. I turned it on yesterday and it looked like it was in "safe mode", which got me to thinking "something's rotten in Denmark here". So I called the HP tech support, you know they're in India. Nothing but nothing led to frustration, they couldn't figure it out, and to top it all off my Logitech mouse was not working, my battery was functioning, the red light was on, I unhooked the mouse and rehooked the mouse numerous times. We tried system recover to an earlier date and it wouldn't let me. It was very hard doing all this without a mouse. I had to use my tab key or arrow keys. So when all was said and done I did system recovery to when this thing was brand new, luckily I did NOT lose ONE file. Weird, I thought. Anyway, I went and bought a cheap mouse this morning, now I have a functioning albeit cheap mouse.

That's why I ran the hijack this log thinking maybe something was hiding from me.

If you can't see anything then I'm not going to bother posting another one.

Thanks again!
