Pics in emails

1. Why doesn't pictures sent to me in emails show up in the email? Why do I have to individually down load and open each one?

2. When replying to an email, how do you include the original email with out changeing the settings for all emails?

Re: Pics in emails

That is controlled by the sender's  email program.  If they are sending them as an attachment it may or may not show up in the body of the message depending on what service is being used.  If I send my self a photo from my Gmail account to Comcast, it is an attachment I have to click on to open.  Going from Outlook.com to Comcast it shows in a special window as a thumbnail you can open.

Getting so I don't like anything about the new email system.
