Unable to access Xfinity mail through Outlook, Windows Live Mail, or Windows Mail app. Both POP3 and IMAP generate server timeout errors and have been since at least 9/8/17. Verified that POP3 and IMAP settings are correct.
POP3 error message
Unable to send or receive messages for the xxxx account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.
Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

POP3 uses port 995, not 993. Please see https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/email-client-programs-with-xfinity-email/.
