Hi Kklag. I can assist with troubleshooting your ongoing internet issues. I'd like to start with polling the CMTS for real-time and historical RF signal reports from your modem. I can also check your local Node/Plant for any degradation or error reports. Re: 1+ years of ongoing modem resets

Problem continues and seems to be getting worse with drops more frequent and in longer durations. Today I could only access 2-3 websites and the rest were met wtih a "server IP could not be found" even though my internet was up and I could visit some websites. I'am currently typing this inbetween modem resets which are happening every few minutes now.

Re: 1+ years of ongoing modem resets

For several hours after I made the initial post my internet was fine and did not drop. Maybe around hour 5 my internet went down and almost immediately reset online which was the fastest I have seen it do such. Then again 1-2 hours later my modem reset and this time it took around 5-10 timutes to cycle online.

I've asked an employee to check the CMTS for real-time and historical RF signal reports from your modem. They can also check your local node/plant for any degradation or error reports. You can expect a reply in this thread.

One year of ongoing modem resets

I have been having problems with my internet for going on almost one year now. I have had 7 technicians out to my home and replace everything from the "tap" to the modem. I have went out and purchased a third party modem (http://www.arris.com/surfboard/products/wi-fi-cable-modems/sbg6900-ac/) after trying two from comcast and the problem still presists. When the internet drops all lights on the modem will stay the same even though the internet is down, after anywhere from 5-10 minutes the modem will begin to reset and come online. This will occur anywhere from once to a dozen times a day at random times of the day, the last 3 days have been the worse I have seen it as it drops every 5-10 minutes.
