Norton Security Suite should now be reactivated

Hi All,

<EDIT>  If your NSS is not still not acitvated please use this forum's PM function to notify NortonSupport (a forum user) or myself of your PIN and we will forward it to Norton for them to activate your product.

Your PIN number is stored in Norton Security_PIN.txt in the following location:

In Windows 10/8/7/Vista: C:\Users\Users Name\My Documents\Symantec\Norton Security_PIN.txt

In Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Symantec\Norton Security_PIN.txt <EDIT>

Latest info I have from Norton:

No action is required from the customer's end, service is restored automatically.

Although, there is possibility the UI will show ˜At Risk" due to old definitions or scan status. Running the 'Fix Now' flow will restore the 'Protected' status.

Hopefully everyone who has encountered this situation will be currently reactivated.

Please report in the applicable threads of your experience and if you have any addtional questions.
