Re: No internet service

Have not noticed any of those going down, so it must be the WIFI.  Any ideas?

Re: No internet service

Trying to narrow things down to see if it is a *WiFi only* problem or if it is affecting both hardwired and WiFi. Need to know if hardwired devices do the same thing in order to be able to isolate it to that..

Re: No internet service

Things that are hard wired to the infinity wireless box are a internet security camera and a wireless router for our theromastat.  Wireless we have 2 laptops and a printer.  Hope this helps. Thanks

Re: No internet service

Those are in spec. Since it is a WiFi connection, for a test, does a computer hardwired directly to it with an ethernet cable have the same issue ?

Re: No internet service

Make & Model of Moden is ARRIS Model #TG862G/CT

Yes it is WIFI

Downstream Power Lever is 1dBmV on channel Bonding Value #1  SNR 35.9dB

0.9dBmV on channel bonding value #2 SNR 35.9dB

1dBmV on channel bonding value #3   SNR 35.5dB

0.9dBmV on channel bonding value #4 SNR 36.1dB

1dBmV on channel bonding value #5   SNR 35.9mV

Upstream Power Level is 41.5dBmV on channel bonding value #1

41.3dBmV on channel bonding value #2

41.5dBmV on channel bonding value #3

This is all I could find, any ideas? Thanks

Search engines have nothing to do with it. Just try clicking on those blue colored links.

Re: No internet service

Start with the modem's signal stats. Perhaps they already are, or they are close to being out of spec and intermittently they go completely of spec. Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?

Is this a WiFi connection ?

No internet service

Why do we have problems EVERYDAY with our internet service?   Do we need someone to upgrade our service?  This is so frustrating!!!
