Are you able to access the email on some other computer or device? On the iPhone, did you try to access is using only Safari instead of the Mail app?
I can get email fine on my computer. Was using the mail app on phone. I changed phone to imap and it is now working but for my own strange preferences i prefer POP3 on my phone. Does the new mail not support POP3 any longer on the iphone? Thanks
Comcast accounts are IMAP compliant by default. However, they do still have POP3 capability. On the iPhone, start setting up the account and when you get to the page where you enter the password, deliberately misspell it. When it tries to verify I think it will prompt you to configure the account manually. At least that's how it works on my Mac. I think it's the same with iOS, but I'm not 100% sure. I don't recommend people use POP3 any more, because if you have the same account set up on another device using IMAP it can cause problems.
