Well, I just deleted everything and re-entered. And to my great delight, my e-mai is now working!!! It must have been the typo.
Thanks for all your help! =)
Windows (Vista) is the host
Incoming is mail.comcast.net
Outgoing is smtp.comcast.net
SMTP is 465
Incoming is 995
The error message reads:
"The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mailcomcast.net', Server: 'mailcomcast.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"
Are you ONLY using XfinityConnect to access email, or are you also using an email client such as Windows Live Mail, Outlook, etc? If you do use an email client, post back which ports you are using for POP3 and SMTP.
