Tomorrow the fourth technician in 6 months will come to my house and fix the same "external issue" I've been having. "Something was wrong in the box", they always say. They fix it. Things go back to normal for a few days or weeks. Then, it's out again.
The modem cuts out intermittently. Sometimes it's for a few hours, sometimes there's no reviving it for days.
The question is, what can I do/ask to end the madness? I'm ready to flop to Verizon, just hate that their "internet only" option is tied to a phone line. When I get a real fix everything can run smoothly for an extended period of time (4 months was the max)... so they're not completely horrible, just this situation is.
I'm going to try escalating your ongoing issue to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. You should get a reply here in your topic.
