The first thing I checked was Tivo support - that is where I learned about the closed port.

I'm having same issue.  It started today.  Called Comcast but they only did a modem reset.

Error message on both Tivo boxes that TCP port 37 needs to be opened for my upstairs and downstairs Tivo boxes to communicate. How do I open TCP Port 37 on my Xfinity router?
