Start with the modem's signal stats. Perhaps they already are, or they are close to being out of spec and intermittently they go completely of spec. Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?

Modem off line then resets

Almost every day my modem takes itself offline (sometimes twice a day) then takes 7-9 minutes or so to reboot itself.  This interrupts my TV shows I am watching, my phone wi-fi and my desk computer.  There is no rhyme nor reason to this happening.  Just now I was sitting at my computer station (not using the computer) and the modem went offline. I was using none of the services directly at the time that it went offline.  Why does that happen? How can I keep it from happening again?
