Two weeks ago, my hard disk crashed. A week and a half ago, I installed a new disk and start the OneDrive sync. My laptop is configured to not power down and I am using a wired connection (directly to the modem). So far, less than 50% of the data has uploaded. Various tools show my download speed between 100 and 200 mbs, but OneDrive is syncing at roughly 60 kbs. I did a refresh earlier this year, and uploaded over 200 GB over a weekend. I did a trace on the one drive URL (onedrive.live.com), and the trace shows some time outs.

Is this a problem with COMCAST or Microsoft? Is COMCAST throttling OneDrive? If so, could you please ease up on the retrictions. I am paying through the nose for your service. Provide some.
Hi, adblondin - We don't put any limitation on download speed for any web site. Even per your trace route, you can see that time outs pop up after hitting the different (msedge.net) server. Are you only having an issue with OneCloud?
FWIW, those timed out hops are meaningless. They are just routers / interfaces that are deliberately configured to not respond to ICMP packet based ping requests. The trace completes to the destination server.
Hello adblondin, I would be happy to look at your modem to see if there is an issue. However, if you are just having issues with just OneDrive, there may be an issue with MS.
