Internet connectivity and SB6190

I recently upgraded my Modem to a Arris SB6190 and latley I have had connectivity issues, I just called support and they sent a new firmware but now I can't connect at all. They tried to blame my modem but I dont think that is the issue

Re: Internet connectivity and SB6190

Update: I have tried a backup modem with no change in service and now neither is getting past the first flashing light. Worse than before.

Re: Internet connectivity and SB6190

Hi @Kparenti,

You are only connected to a few channels and they seem to have some noise issues. You'll probably want to look over your wiring (see the troubleshooting guide.) You might need a tech to get that straightened out.

Re: Internet connectivity and SB6190

How bad is the noise? I am still not getting any signal at all so it went from intermittent to non existent. Phone support has been useless.
