IPv6 Support

I'm having problem with IPv6 access on the Comcast network.  Specifically, if I turn off IPv4 on my PC, I cannot access any IPv6 enabled sites, such as, comcast.net or google.com, etc.  The PC I’m using is directly plugged into the Comcast gateway (SMC) so it should be the Comcast gateway issue. The way I turned off the IPv4 on the PC is:

Open Network and Sharing Center
Click on Change adapter settings
Right click on Local Area Connection

Select Properties Uncheck Inter Protocol Version 4

Check Internet Protocol Version 6

Anyone has any luck with Comcast gateway for a IPv6 only network? If so, which Comcast gateway is used? Do you have any static IP assigned by Comcast?

Re: IPv6 Support

My IPv6 problem is resolved by a Comcast tech today. I finally got a tech who is willing to listen to the issue and willing to try different modem configurations to resolve it !
