Currently have the Cisco DPC3941T.
Lately on our mobile devices the WiFi stays connected but the internet stalls.
Turning off Wifi and back on - on the device fixes.
Current firmware is DPC3941_2.7p8s1_PROD_sey
Reset the device back to factory settings (you will lose custom settings). There is a little hole on the back of the device at the top. Use a paperclip or similar tool to depress the switch for more than 10 seconds. If the Wi-Fi is still failing randomly, then I'd replace the device.
Ok I did the factory reset this morning. Changed the name and password to what it was before. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestion.
