Email hacking

when I tried to login to my email this morning I kept on getting an error message that my user name and password were incorrect. I changed the password and logged in and then saw an email from myself to my comcast account; something weird about nutrition. I logged out and when I tried to log back in I got the same error message so I again reset my password. Should I change my user name too? if so, how do I do that? Thank you

Re: Email hacking

Look in the Sent folder.  If there is anything in there you know you didn't send, the account has been compromised.  Change the password and secret question, then run a scan of your system with your A/V hardware to see if it finds anything.  How are you accessing the account-----on a phone or tablet or what?  Are you using only the webmail or a desktop client like Outlook?
