As the page at explains (it's addressed to the sending ISP, not to you or your friend), Comcast has blocked the GMX mail server on IP due to excessive spam. Comcast Security Assurance might be able to help you with this. Give them a call at 1-888-565-4329 (from Note that this is NOT one of the general customer service numbers, and that if the sending system doesn't take steps to get its spam problem under control, it will blocked again.

The first-line reps there are sometimes not very helpful. If so, be persistent, and keep at them until you get a satisfactory answer.

Email Problem

I have an email problem.

A friend in Austria sends the same emails simultenously to my wife's iPad with yahoo-address and to my PC with Comcast address. My wife receives the messages while  mine get rejected, see message in red below.

This has now happened repeatedly. It did not happen three weeks ago. My email addess is correct. The SPAM box is empty.


I'd be most grateful for help solving this problem.
